We took a walk on Good Friday (late March) from Malham village to Malham Cove and Tarn. Malham Cove is a huge arced 260 ft cliff face in the middle of the Yorkshire Dales. It’s very popular with climbers and walkers, as the footpaths are good and the rock face itself is south-facing and sheltered (although I’m told most of the climbing routes are Es, so not for the inexperienced climber).
